Victory at Daytona Bike Week

"This ain't a bolt-on custom."

Last Friday, March 7, Strokers Dallas owner Rick Fairless revealed his re-imagined Victory Vegas 8-Ball at Daytona Bike Week.  Fairless created the custom bike for the fifth year of the Allstate Motorcycle Sweepstakes; this is the first year, however, that a Fairless custom is featured as the grand prize.

“I knew I had to push the limits a little with this bike because they insure so many different kinds of folks,” Fairless said, “We ended up with a bike that is really going to turn some heads. This ain’t a bolt-on custom.”

The custom Victory Vegas 8-Ball boasts specially created engine guards, a drilled-out front pulley cover and chain guard, and a two-into-one exhaust. Fairless also created aftermarket Victory parts for his custom, and you can these parts through the retail side of Strokers. And as for the paint job – that’s up to the winner, who gets an all-expense paid trip to Dallas to meet with Rick and work with him on a custom paint job.

“We’re confident that the winner of this year’s Allstate Motorcycle Sweepstakes is not only going to love their new ride,” said Pam Hollander, senior director of marketing for Allstate Insurance Company, and as big fans of the Victory Vegas 8-Ball series, we at Mungenast Motorsports couldn’t agree more.

The 2015 Victory Gunner

Another noteworthy Victory motorcycle making a splash at Dallas Bike Week was the 2015 Gunner. This cruiser features a Freedom 106 engine (4-stroke 50° V-twin) and a heaping 110 ft-lb of torque, and weighs in 11 pounds less than the Victory Judge.  The Victory Gunner is an outstanding cruiser motorcycle; a bobber with the unmatched combination of style, performance, and power typical of Victory motorcycles. You have to experience this bike – and you can at Mungenast Motorsports in St. Louis, MO. See our 2015 Victory Gunner inventory here.

Mungenast Motorsports Welcomes Victory Motorcycles To The Family

It’s no secret that Dave Mungenast Sr. was perhaps one of the most influential motorcycle enthusiasts in St. Louis’ rich motorsports history.  Dave took all his passion and energy for his love of motorcycles and opened his first dealership, St. Louis Honda, in 1965.  Today, we continue Dave’s passion for motorsports and share the enthusiasm for ridership that our company was founded on.  We’re proud to announce a new chapter in our history as we welcome Victory Motorcycles, one of the most quintessentially American motorcycle brands of our time, to our showroom.  Victory set out to establish a reputation for themselves as “The New American Motorcycle” when they began producing their bikes back in 1998 in Spirit Lake, Iowa.  Today, Victory is an industry leader in design, production, and powertrain development.

Please stay tuned to our blog for more information about Victory Motorcycles.  We expect to have the first models arrive within the next three weeks.
